2. Erase and replace. For this, you need to really watch where your head is going. When you find yourself nervous about a social event, it's likely when your opinion of it automatically go towards negative. You may think things such as, "Oh no, imagine if I have a panic attack? Suppose this place gives me the cold shoulder?"

Whenever you notice that your opinions are negative similar to this, immediately force your train of thinking to penetrate a good direction. Erase the negative and put it back using a positive. Here's how:

For: "Oh no imagine if I own a panic attack?" Change it out with: "I can experience nervous while i am on the party, on the other hand know I will be fine. I can handle it."

For : "What if he/she provides me with the cold shoulder?" Replace it with: "She may or may not just like me. No matter. I am friendly and pleasant to everyone. I find the great people."

And the like.

3. Prayer. Learn to lean heavily on the faith in a very divine being to assist you with social anxiety. In case you are in a situation where you feel anxious and think you cannot handle it, trust that your higher power can. Have faith that you're loved and guarded and deserve a contented and peaceful life- and this includes feeling calm and happy in every social situation. Prayer works, nevertheless, you must be sure you undertake it.
