Sugar is everywhere, in plain sight as well as in disguise. Refined sugar is amongst the most detrimental substances within the human diet. It's the anti-health to your body. Sugar consumption directly relates to increased signs of Aging, Bone Loss, Mental Fatigue, Weight gain, ADD, Metabolic Syndrome, Disease and Depression. For many people, sugar can be your best friend and enemy all at one time. If your goal has have you been to lose weight, you know Sugar will probably be your physical and mental downfall. You feel compelled you can eat it and after that guilty that you simply did.

The sugar/insulin roller-coaster plays a crucial role in balance. When excessive insulin is time consuming of the bloodstream, blood sugar levels plummet and the sugar cravings start working. This can be the consequence of nutrient deficient diet and/or dieting consisting of the wrong "fuel" ratios for you personally. Cravings can happen any time, but some get these cravings in the form of "afternoon slump" around 3:00pm. When you constantly give in to the cravings with refined sugar snacks, illness, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and fat gain may become inevitable. You must learn to maintain blood sugar levels and reduce the sugar cravings.

Want to find out how to level yourself out, so your glucose levels stay even? The easiest response is food. A focus on eating smaller, more frequent meals containing adequate protein and healthy fat levels can regulate blood glucose. I know this sounds easier than you imagine it could be, but I wish to assure you that it's possible using the right guidance, stocked kitchen, preparedness and support.

Sugar is definitely an Addiction, which can be as severe as a drug addiction. By Government standards, Sugar is in fact more addicting than Cocaine. Sugar effects and alters the human brain chemistry the same as cocaine or heroin. It's scary, that "Sugar" Drug is sold in over-abundance, otc and actually marketed to pre-schoolers so that they become hooked clients for life.

Sugar could potentially cause could cause behavioral changes as a result of changes in your head chemistry; like binge eating and also the inability to give up eating the offending foods, even when you need to. Refined sugars signal the brain to release serotonin and endorphins. Serotonin creates a feeling of euphoria plus a "sugar rush". You have temporary satisfaction, energy and happiness that is quickly replaced by a bigger drop in emotions and clarity you then originally had. The big sugar drop begins as quickly as 30 minutes after you have consumed the sugar. This drop in serotonin can make a bigger craving or desire to have more sugar. This is the thing that I call the sugar roller-coaster.

This sugar addiction can easily translate and come to be an addiction to any situation that produces the "sense of one's and relief" including coffee, caffeine, energy drinks, candy, pastries, pills, alcohol (a massive sugar rush) plus much more. Another important thing to find out is what's sugar? Manufacturers have almost 20 different names to disguise sugar. If they was lacking so many different ingredient names for sugar, SUGAR would be listed as the top ingredient for most packaged items. They don't want you to see Sugar at the top from the list.

There a wide range of ways to attack your sugar cravings. You can choose to go cold turkey, engage in a guided a sugar detox or slowly by adding into your diet what exactly is missing. Sometimes, when sugar is worried, the root of the problem may be mineral imbalances, insulin issues, a nutrient deficient diet or even an unmet emotional need.

Try adding cinnamon into your diet as often as possible. Cinnamon might help calm sugar cravings safely.
